Disclaimer: Virtually all the photos and
information for this quilt was obtained in the public
domain from the internet from various military and aviation related web sites. In
researching, I found in some cases
the specific information for a given aircraft
on one web site was different from that on another site. In those cases, I had
to try to search enough sites to find some kind of consensus.
It was my goal to make the details as accurate as possible. However,
this quilt was never intended as a definitive reference document. On the
contrary, the War Birds theme is aimed simply at
commemorating the advance of military aviation over the Twentieth Century.
It is offered in good faith, but some errors will be inevitable. Your
comments are welcome.
